FAQ //

Do i need a referral?

No, referrals are not required to see a Podiatrist at Next Step Podiatry.

Is HiCAPS offered?

Yes, we have a HiCAPS machine in the clinic which allows you to claim your health fund rebate immediately ensuring you only have to pay the gap on the day. This also is the case when claiming through Medicare

How long will it take to get my orthotics done once ordered?

Orthotics normally have a 10 day turn around period from date of casting. This means you will be in your new pair of custom made orthotics within two weeks from the assessment and on your way to becoming pain free.

How much rebate will i get from a Podiatry service?

Rebates vary from health fund to health fund. Depending on the cover and extras you opt to include will depend on how much money the health fund will pay for the service. Most health funds pay between $20 of the bill and up to 100% of the cost. Discuss your cover with your health fund as to whether or not you are covered.
